Bartender to Congress, oh boy, that’s great,
But is power corrupting your idea plate
Or is it ordered by the squad’s crazy dictates?
Programs to help the destitute are good;
But government intent can be misunderstood…
By giving free stuff for no welfare to work
Leaves upward mobility hobbling and hurt
Have you looked at the debt piling higher and higher
And all we hear is climate denier…please, please can’t you see…
We just cannot keep printing money indefinitely
With a degree in economics I hope that you know
The freebies to buy votes just should not be so
Congress loves pork and no end in sight
As legislative deals pervade through the night
You spend too much that’s what we see…STOP…
We’ve entrusted you with our hard earned money

And the great thing about freedom is that you can leave…
Move to Cuba, Venezuela, Russia, or China to live,

Consider championing the rights of those with whom you disagree

To make informed decisions on life and liberty
Creating a vacuum of knowledge by using filters
And then anonymous biased arbiters became the new quilters
Who patch together the bits that come through
Limiting free speech…as we once knew
Their egos tell them they know what is best…

BigTech allowing only one point of view
Progressive Dems liking what was spewed
It is not okay to censor those with whom you disagree…
No wonder so many lament your ideas and methodology
An informed electorate is a blessing you see
Preferring to incite personal attacks when you disagree
Rather than discuss the differences honestly….
Sometimes one must agree to differ

Get off my arm and stop limiting my liberty
I love my country far more than you…
As I do see it’s flaws and the room for improvement, too

Desiring power and control, they spoke
But our country’s soul will never be woke
Historical machinations will go up in smoke

They think toppling statues makes their case
But we the people refuse their attempts to erase…history
The “Woken’s” fantasies strive to make me see
